ASSUMPTION

In training, we were taught
Do not assume, ask

Big Town has everything?
I went to Nokia Centre at Garden
To order replacement battery for my E90
Two weeks later still no stock

Quickly sms my son in Singapore
Received replied "had checked with few outlets, no stock"
Suddenly, remember a nephew of mine
Work part-time selling handphone

Make enquiry and was informed
The shop in front my office has stock
I bought the battery today
If only, I never assume

Check into Cititel
Try the  card key to the door
The green and red light blink
Try few more times, same problem

Ask my son to try
He just push the door and it open
Assumption, "Ass u"
Never Assume

Brief and Debrief

When I am invited to participate in project
I ask what is the brief?
Specific, how many hours a week?
For the duration of how many weeks?

At the end of every project
There will be a 20 minutes debrief
What went right?
How can we do it better?

Notebook and Pen

Tony is an excellent facilitator
In every training, notebook and pen is compulsory
Write down the points
Ask if not clear

Do not lose the notebook
The notes are important
All those who had attended his training,
I see them carry notebook and pen in any training.

Derek came from England
Did a training and as a gift
One notebook to every participant
He bought for RM 7, Malaysia sell at RM1

I carry pocket size notebook for many years
Still very relevant until today

Co-Supervisor

Jim is an artist
He has a memory for details
If you have moved any object in the room
He will notice and not fail

Jim has a big heart
In one project, he volunteer the most difficult part
Six events in a row
And it broke his spirit

Jim joined my team
I requested he be my co-supervisor
He got back on his feet
His heart was heal

Last month I was in Brisbane,
He called me and we hug
He said "Yee, remember what you said,
We need to train the young we are getting old "

Meeting after 13 years
I can't help shed tears
I look in Jim eyes
I tell Jim, I will have coffee with him next time

Now, I must locate Jim's address

Travel light

It suddenly dawn on me
All that I write
Is a process of removal
Names, places and memories

The more I do the more I undo
All the pieces in my heart
Things I cannot take when I depart
The next journey will be a great start

Travel light.....
Travel smart

PUBLIC SPEAKING

Attended Dale Carnagie's training today
I learn to speak in front of people
To speak right, not just in my way
Pronounce Zurich correctly, repeatedly

Public speaking is challenging, and enjoying
Though words got jumbled when I Think
It is practice and not magic
I am inspire by the passion of the trainer

Now I just need to practise and practise
My wife is a great listener
With her I shall succeed in my endeavor
My duties to my work I shall deliver

Golden Rule-Time Investment

Rule 1. The Customer is Always Right

Rule 1. The Boss Is Always Right
Rule 2. Refer to Rule 1

God is Perfect
God is "The Master of the Time"

When Customer knock at my door.
"Good Morning, How can I help you?"

When Boss knock at my door.
"Yes, Boss"

When God knock at my door.
"Wait, I will serve you after I am 55,
Now, the Government want to raise it to 60,
And they say one day it will be 65.
Because God you are suppose to let me live to 75.
Right God?"

So, in this period of time
I need to earn my dime
You shall have the last 10 years of my life.

Pre and Post Training

In Year 1999 I applied for a training
The criterias were I wanted to attend the training
And I will take the training seriously
That was the standard,

There were Ground Rules agreed upon
When the training end it become one single rule, lifelong rule

Than post training, to apply what I had learned
The post training was a duration of three weeks
Participation by conference call cost me RM600
The phone charge was RM1/min, today less than 10c/min

For the first time, in MAA, there is a post training project

Golden Rule

Rule 1. The Boss is always Right
Rule 2. Refer Rule 1

To err is Human
If the Boss is always right, the Boss cannot be a Human

God is Perfect
If so God is my Boss

Because it is God that decide I get to wake up in the morning.
And I get my reward every day.

Team-Communications

In the early year, fax was the tool for oversea communication.

Because he speak from his heart

My Walk

This morning I take my walk
Smell the air, and feel the ground
Look at the sky, look around
See the trees, hear the sound

Swing my arms, and feel the breath
Walk to the market to buy my favorite cake
Drink my coffee and take a break
So many people are awake

The old sit and chat
I listen, one man wept
Somebody is sick, and hope it is not too late
To be save, and not be dead

I love to walk......
Thanks God, I can see

My Eye

I was blinded on my right eye
Did an operation and got back my sight
Than it happened to my left eye
The first doctor say "Shit"
The second doctor say, "You unlucky guy"
I say it is alright.

After all the unlucky things
Only good luck will come rest of my life
Now I know as a human being
Good or bad, go inside
God reside, I decide
Better have God on my side.

523 Days

In 523 days I will be 55
How time flies
Many are scared of time
Better work until 65, why?

So much of our life has been focus outside
Work 8 hours
Sleep 7 hours
Eat 5 meals
Bath 2 times
Focus Inside?

Every morning I wake up, Thank you God I am alive
Go to sleep, Thank you God, I am still alive
I want to remember you when I die
I probably have no chance to say good bye

Fart as you please!

Men do it, ladies too
Old men do it, babies too.

Some are silent, some are loud,
Some make its way like a passing cloud

Some say its bad heat,
Some say it's what you eat.

But to this everyone agree,
It's embarrassing to set it free

Announce your innocence by pinching your nose,
But you can't pretend when there's someone close.

Check the wind direction,
Before you set into action

Make sure the path it travel is safe and clear
Be careful not to hit the nose of someone dear

Actually no harm done it is human nature
Aren't we are still living as human creature

So fart as you please
And do it with ease

This may be rude
Writing this is crude.

Come on let go of your troubles and let us laugh more today
Remember life is a gift and you can cherish each day.

BLADDER STONE - TESTIMONIAL FROM A FAMILY FRIEND

There is a simple and effective method.

Here is the remedy for bladder stones. I had tried it for bladder stone and it worked.

You will need:

1. 5 green apples a day for 5 days = 25 apples
2. Epsom salt type 2 (3 tablespoons), you can get from pharmacy
3. 2 lemons + 1 orange
4. Extra virgin olive oil (1/3 cup)

Take 4 to 5 green apples for the first five (5) days. You can take it whole or juice it.

On the sixth day

Skip dinner

around 6 pm dissolve one tablespoon of Epsom Salt Type II in a cup of lukewarm water and drink.

around 8 pm dissolve one tablespoon of Epsom Salt Type II with a cup of lukewarm water and drink.

around 10pm juice the 2 lemons and oranges (about 1/3 cup) and mixed with same amount of Extra Virgin Olive oil and drink. Make sure it is Extra Virgin Olive oil which is the first press of the oil. Pure olive oil is not extra virgin.

Have a few pieces of biscuits ready when you drink the Extra virgin olive oil and lemon mixture portion as it may be difficult to drink.

The next morning at around 6 am, dissolve one tablespoon of Epsom Salt Type II in a cup of lukewarm water and drink.

the stones should be passed out in the morning. Take a look at your stools in the morning, you will see different sizes (some could be very fine and some could be larger) dark green lumps attached to the stool

Hope are able to get rid of the stones with this method which has been proven with many people.

CHINESE PANCAKE

The pancake is prepared in a unique way. This stall is set up at the night market "Pasar Malam" . Each day the stall will be situated at different neighbourhood. Every Wednesday, it operate near my home and a good time for family to do shopping. At time for dinner we will buy foods at different stalls. This stall is my favourite and the couple selling the food is excited to be posted on my blog.
